This setting isn't really about the physical size of the speakers it simply determines whether or not the speaker will be ran in full range without a crossover(large) or with a crossover(small). If you have a subwoofer all of your speakers should be set to small. I would set everything to a 80Hz crossover for the time being until we can lookup the speakers specs. you can run Audyssey 3 different times and get 3 different results. Why the mic chose different crossovers might have to do with your room, although you'll be surprised. What model speakers do you have? And yes if they're the same speaker the crossover should be the same. Now as far as your crossover 40/50hz is quite low and unless you have large tower speakers I doubt they're going that low (or with an incredible roll off). As far as sound settings the you should select bitstream out so that the receiver handles everything. So for your Xbox the x2700h has one 4k120hz input so I assume that's where your xbox is connected which is why you're getting 4k120hz.
